  • Dynamic Expression auditions will be May 1 from 6-8 in the CHS choir room. You will need to prepare a 1 minute song and be ready to learn a short dance at the time of the audition.  Miss Fights will have songs available in the choir room.   Please see her if you have any questions.

  • Attention Peer Pals!  Our last outing will be this Saturday, April 29th at 1:00 PM.  We will be meeting at the Animal Shelter to walk dogs.  Afterwards, we will have a picnic at the shelter on the grounds.  Pick up time, will be 2:00.  There are information flyers outside Rm 125.  Come and out and enjoy a fun activity with your pal.  See ya there! In case of storms, we will reschedule.

  • Attention anyone 18 years old.  Two job opportunities are available for Seniors.

    1. Kelly Services has entry level positions with pay ranging from $9 to $12  per hour.  All positions require drug and background screening and some require a diploma/GED.  For the Crawfordsville area these are long term assignments.  Information is available in Guidance.
    2. PERDUE is now hiring several Full-time, General Labor Positions which are available now.   For this job you would received medical, dental and vision insurance, and paid holidays.  We have handouts in the Guidance office with phone numbers.

  • Physical night for the 17-18 school year will be on Wednesday, April 26th here in the gymnasium at CHS.  Cost of the physical is $20.  Athletes who plan on participating in sports next year at CHS should plan on getting their physical April 26th or scheduling their physical with their family physician as soon as possible.

  • The Jeff Heuss Memoria Scholarship is due this Friday in the guidance office! You must be a senior with a C+ or higher average and plan to major in business or a related field.

  • Are you missing a credit or would like to get ahead – then you should sign-up for the summer school Credit Recovery program. This “online” high school is great for a student who has failed a course or has a desire to earn extra credits. The class will run from 8:00-12:00 during June. Space is limited. Visit the Guidance Department or Mr. Melton for additional information and an application.

  • Think you might have DETENTION? Well, there is one way to find out for sure; check the list on the Main Office Window. That will take the guess work right out of it. Remember - excuses like "I didnt know I had detention" are not going to get you out of it. Check the list, check it often. It's not worth the problems it's going to cause if you don't show up. Do the right thing.. check the list!
