    • Alternatively, you may choose to complete your CPR training online.  Here are the steps to do so:

     1)    Go to www.elearning.heart.org

    2)    Register, if you have not already done this in the past

    3)    Select “course catalog,” and from drop-down box, choose “Workplace Training”

    4)    Choose “Heartsaver® CPR AED Online Part 1”

    5)    Cost is currently $25, and you must pay by credit card; cost is $30 if you choose first aid as well as CPR/AED training

    6)    After you complete the class, print off the certificate as proof of completing the online portion

    7)    Schedule a time to do your skills check with Amy or Lacee (abales@cville.k12.in.us)

    8)    Bring your printed certificate when you come to do the skills check

    9)    After completion of online portion and skills check, information will be submitted by the instructor online to show that you have met all requirements. After submission, an email will be generated directly to you. You will click the link, and just need to follow the instructions to complete a brief online evaluation to receive a copy of your certification.

    10)  You will need to print out your own certification card. The online format offers several printing options.

    11) Please make a copy of your certification and send it to the administration office for your personnel file.

    12) If you need CPR certification to renew a teaching license, you must print off and upload a copy to DOE.
