  • We will not be placing students in any more credit recovery classes now that we are in the final weeks of the school year. If you are currently failing a class, your only options for gaining the credit are to raise your current grade or enroll in summer school to gain back the credit. This includes seniors!

  • Are you missing a credit or would like to get ahead – then you should sign-up for the summer school Credit Recovery program.  This “online” high school is great for a student who has failed a course or has a desire to earn extra credits.   The class will run from 8:00-12:00 during late May and June.  Space is limited.  Visit the Guidance Department or Mr. Melton for additional information and an application.

  • Hey CHS…please take a moment and read through the dance policy in the student handbook…here are a few highlights: no groping, no dirty dancing, and no grinding.  The policy will be in effect this Saturday at Prom.

  • Think you might have DETENTION? Well, there is one way to find out for sure; check the list on the Main Office Window. That will take the guess work right out of it. Remember - excuses like "I didnt know I had detention" are not going to get you out of it. Check the list, check it often. It's not worth the problems it's going to cause if you don't show up. Do the right thing.. check the list!
