The Crawfordsville Community School Corporation School Board and school board member, J. Monte Thompson, are making waves among the Indiana School Boards Association (ISBA).
The CCSC School Board has been recognized by the ISBA with an Exemplary Governance Award (EGA) for calendar year 2025 for demonstrating an outstanding commitment to student success and professional learning. In addition, Thompson has been recognized as an individual award recipient from the ISBA.
The CCSC School Board is one of only 120 school boards in the State of Indiana to earn an award through the EGA program this year.
Dr. Ryker stated, “The EGA honor evidences the board's extraordinary commitment to specific professional development to grow their skills and practices to best guide our school corporation. We appreciate their modeling of life-long learning to serve our school community.”
The Board was recognized at ISBA District IV Spring Regional Meeting.
