Hey Athenians, don’t forget that it’s Snowcoming week! You know what that means- you’ll be voting for the 2019 Snowcoming King! Will it be Eric, Anthony, KJ or Will? Cast your vote on Tuesday and Wednesday during lunch, then come to the game on Friday to find out who is crowned King and to cheer on your Crawfordsville Athenians to victory over Fountain Central!
Also, we are having an additional, special election on Wednesday. IF we were to elect a Snowcoming “Queen”, who do you think would do it justice? Gus, Eric, Will or Parker? Check out each guys’ glamorous look on Wednesday at lunch and cast your vote in this SPECIAL election on Wednesday. The winner will be announced at the pep session on Friday afternoon.

Students, Spirit Week is almost upon us… Listen up, everyone, as the Spirit Week posters are not all up yet, this is your first glimpse of the spirit days for next week. We’ll remind you as the week goes on, but you may want to jot this down:
Monday is ‘Merica Day. Tuesday is Meme/ Vine day, on Wednesdays we wear pink, Thursday is teacher swap and Friday celebrates the many styles of our opponents for Snowcoming- the Fountain County folk- with FoCo to MoCo. Details for each day to follow, but we start with Monday.
Monday is ‘Merica Day. Back the red white and blue by wearing your favorite American themed garb on Monday.
Attention All Current CTE Students: You must sign in and out each day in the main office, after you return from your CTE Class or when you are leaving the Building to go to your CTE Class. Each student must sign themselves in and out. If someone else signs another student in or out, both will be issued a Friday Detention.
Attention Seniors! There is a new edition of the Scholarship Scoop available. There are copies in the guidance office, Mr. Gerold’s room, Ms. Race’s room and on Canvas. This is also a reminder that all Montgomery County Community Foundation scholarships are due on January 15th.
Think you might have DETENTION? Well, there is one way to find out for sure; check the list on the Main Office Window. That will take the guess work right out of it. Remember - excuses like "I didnt know I had detention" are not going to get you out of it. Check the list, check it often. It's not worth the problems it's going to cause if you don't show up. Do the right thing.. check the list!
You should have received your After the Bell Round 3 Schedule at the awards ceremony this morning in Advisory. You also should have gotten the clubs you requested. If not, you need to see Ms. Collins or Mr. Dickinson. Round 3 begins next Monday, January 14th.
Registration for Youth Baseball and Fast Pitch Softball has begun and will take place at the Park and Rec until February 28th. See the front office for more information.
Our lost & found is getting very full. If your child is missing any items, please encourage them to check the lost & found located just outside the cafeteria. We want to be sure we can reunite students with their lost items. If possible, please label all items with your student's name.
