  • Student athletes.... summer conditioning will begin on Monday, June 3rd.  Weightlifting and
    conditioning will take place on Monday, Tuesdays, and Thursdays this summer.  Football players will
    meet from 7-8 am, boys basketball and wrestling will lift from 7:30-8:30 am, and all other sports will lift
    from 8- 9am.

    INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. Any student who is absent and their absence has not been cleared through the office, will be given an “F” for their final exam grade.
    2. All students are required to be here for ALL study halls except on Friday, May 24th, period 5 study hall only.  If they are leaving 5th period study hall, they must have a parent call in for an early dismissal.  If a student leaves with no call from a parent, it will be a 3% grade reduction for ALL Exam grades. Any student absent during any study hall other than 5th period will be treated as an unexcused absence, and ALL exam grades will be reduced by 3%.

     

     

     

     Seniors may stay in the Aux. Gym both lunch shifts.

  • Are you missing a credit or would like to get ahead – then you should sign-up for the summer school Credit Recovery program.  This “online” high school is great for a student who has failed a course or has a desire to earn extra credits.   The class will run from 8:00-12:00 during late May and June.  Space is limited.  Visit the Guidance Department or Mr. Melton for additional information and an application.

    Final report cards will be emailed home at the end of the week the week of May 29th.

     

    THE OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED JUNE 6TH.

    Summer Athletic Camps

    Summer camp information is available on the CHS website for boys basketball, baseball, footbal, volleyball, and boys and girls soccer. Some camps begin coming up on June 10th, so deadlines are approaching!

     

    Current Transfer Students

    This is a reminder for all current transfer families that transfer paperwork must be completed again for next year (2019-2020 school year) and is due to central office by August 1st.

  • WHAT IS USEFUL ON OUR WEBSITE UNDER "FOR PARENT"?

    Lunch App...Use this to apply for assistance for textbooks and lunches.

    Meal Plan..."Send Money to School"...Use this to setup an online lunch account for your child so that you may make payments, checkbalances, view history and transfer money.

    Volunteer Approval..."SafeVisitor"...Use this to have a background check.  You need to have a background every year in order to come to the school, help with class activities or eat lunch, etc.  You cannot go any farther than the office if you do not have a background.


    SWIM SCHEDULE IS ON OUR WEBSITE CALENDAR! PLEASE CHECK IT SO YOU WILL KNOW WHEN YOUR CHILD NEEDS TO BRING THEIR SWIMSUIT TO SCHOOL.

  • In an effort to reduce paper use, we no longer print off the menus monthly however there is an app for that!  Search for School Menus by Nutrislice in the App Store or you can access it from the Hose homepage.  Click here to see the menu page.

    • Clothing should cover the student while in a seated position and/or when raising arms.
    • Clothing should cover undergarments and the midriff at all times.
    • Shirts/dresses with large armholes and spaghetti straps are not permitted.
    • Shoes should allow the student to walk, climb, and play safely.
    • Flip flops are not permitted. Shoes must have a closed toe.
