Welcome to Mrs. Streetman's Class Page

Welcome to my class page where you'll find helpful information including class assignments, homework, and links. Weekly assignments and posted homework is pre-planned and may change according to class progress. Please feel free to email me if you have questions about assignments, homework, or student progress.
The main homework that you should expect for your 7th grade student is that I would like to see your child read, read, and then read a little more. If a student will read at least 20 minutes per night, it will help with comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. I will also send study guides whenever there is going to be a large test so that we can model and practice good study skills.

All of my students have the same homework every night. READ, READ, and READ! If they will read for 20 minutes every night, it will help with comprehension, spelling, vocabulary, sentence structure, grammar, writing, and problem solving. Each student has a book from the library that he or she has selected and is accountable for reading as homework.
The A/E students will also have stems as homework. This first semester we reviewed and reinforced the ones they had already learned, and then second semester we will add 200 new stems. Stem Tests will be each Friday.
